Interview with Iranian musician Ashkan Shafiel who is now based in Sydney, has just released the EP Hunter that was recorded as part of the Artist Accelerator Program by Music in Exile. He sings in Farsi and plays the Rubab, a traditional plucked-string instrument from Iran, Afghanistan and South Asia. He will be performing at the Stay Soft Market at Collingwood Yards, Melbourne on Saturday 21 June. Tracks played:
