Tune into 3CR Breakfast for daily updates from the East West Tunnel Picket with Annie McLoughlin (Stick Together and Solidarity Breakfast)

The picket is organised by a broad community coalition concerned about the proposed East West Link impact in Abbotsford, Collingwood, Fitzroy, Carlton and Clifton Hill.

Engaging in peaceful but determined direct action, the campaign aims to get money invested into the public transport system instead of another toll road. This would do much more to ease congestion. It would also create more jobs and be better for the environment. By investing in a rail line to Doncaster, 800 cars would be taken off the Eastern freeway for every train that runs the line. It would also avoid the loss of peoples homes for cars!!.
