In this episode of Queering The Air, Sasja Sÿdek shared her personal journey of finding her voice and shed light on the immense power our voices hold. Joining 3CR community radio has been instrumental in empowering Sasja. Despite discovering her voice, Sasja still confronts attempts to silence her. Through her active participation in 3CR, Sasja has become a passionate advocate for trans women of color, providing them with a platform to amplify their voices. Regrettably, trans women of color continue to be tokenised and overlooked by white individuals, perpetuating their invisibility within society.
