Australian Charter of Human Rights: Covid 19 Inquiry + Invasion Day & Solidarity with Palestine

First on the show is Arif Hussein, Senior Lawyer at The Human Rights Law Centre. In the context of the submission to the Covid-19 Pandemic Response Inquiry, Arif discusses Australia's failures to consider human rights in law and policy-making, and provides an update on the campaign for an Australian Charter of Human Rights to challenge injustice and prevent human rights violations. 

Secondly, a proud Wani-Wandian man and member of the The Black People's Union, Keiran Stewart-Assheton, joins Marisa to talk about Invasion Day, the Block The Dock Naarm movement and standing in solidarity with the Palestinian People.
