Indigenous Solidarity Gathering

On today’s program, we bring you some coverage from the2017 Indigenous and Grass roots Movements Solidarity Gathering. The conference was held in Melbourne Australia, over the weekend of 7 & 8 October, and was hosted by the Latin American Solidarity Network.

The two keynote speakers featured on today’s program, are Kristy Lee Horswood - Warriors of the Aboriginal Resistance (WAR) activist and member of the Gamilaraay Nation and Catalina Catrileo - Mapuche activist and sister of Matías Catrileo, the 22 year old Mapuche warrior who was murdered by the Chilean police in 2008.
