South Alphington & Fairfield Civic Association (SAFCA) is pleased to announce that the 5th Annual Music From the Wetlands Festival will be held on Sunday April 19th between 11.30pm and 5.30pm, at the Alphington Wetlands, 1 View St Alphington.
A free community event for the whole family featuring David Bridie,
Megahorns, Second Nature, Northern Voice, Willy Philly Bush Band, Emma
Anglesey St Bruno, The Alphingtones and commencing with a procession
with Havana Palava – Melbournes most exciting street band.
Join the street procession starting at the corner of Heidelberg Rd and Yarralea St at 11.15am. Children from Alphington Primary are encouraged to wear the Easter bonnets they made to the procession and for every bonnet worn SAFCA will donate $3 towards craft supplies for Strathewen Primary, the bush fire affected school which Alphington Primary have adopted.
There will be two stages allowing for non stop music and entertainment.
