Antartica

Monday, 2 May 2016 - 5:00pm to 6:00pm
Climate and the Antartica

Viv talks to the scientists, the Antartica scientists!  Their work deepens our understanding of the role the region plays in the global climate system, and the implications for marine ecosystems.
In order of interview, Viv speaks with Dr David Etheridge (CSIRO), Dr Sue Cook (Glaciologist, University of Tasmania), and Professor Tony Worby (CEO acecrc.org.au ).

And we are reminded, again, that our best action in aid of the climate could be to get in contact, loudly and regularly, with our pollies and make it known how this is an issue you feel strongly about and that they should too.  There is no better time to bend their ears than when their jobs are on the line.  Yes, it's election time.  Get on the phone or online and make this an election issue.
