On today’s special International Women’s Day edition of Women on the Line, we revisit an archived interview from 2013 with comedians, performers, musicians and sisters Candy and Kim Bowers. During the time of the interview they were touring a children’s comedy show around Australia called MC Platypus and Queen Koala’s Hip Hop Jamboree. I sat down with them alongside writer, DJ and host of 3CR’s Hip Sista Hop, Sista Zai to chat about their experiences of race and gender in comedy and hip hop.
