Mid last year, I visited my old share house in Petersham, in Sydney’s inner west. It was the night of the Federal election, but the occasion was in fact an eviction party for the house, which at the time of its ending had been a share house for 11 years.

So, after a little processing time, this week on Women on the Line we bring you an episode that’s a bit more personal for me than usual, featuring voices and stories from the house at Middleton Street and hopefully some insight into the shared project of living that it entailed.
