Stick Together 12.05.2013

In June last year, Barry O’Farrel’s government made some massive changes to workers compensation in NSW. Workers in NSW, except firies, police and paramedics, are now struggling with a workers compensation scheme that hangs many of them out to dry when they’re at their most vulnerable. We’re going to hear from Peter Tully, a coordinator of the Injured Workers Support Network in central NSW and an injured worker. In the second half of the show we catch up on the latest funding cuts to hit Australian universities and have a chat with assistant secretary of the tertiary education union Matt McGowan to hear what’s being done about it.
