Talking up at ANFA

Saturday, 31 October 2015 - 10:00am to 10:30am

The Australian Government is doing its best dinosaur impression and trying hard to have a nuclear light-bulb moment, while the rest of the world is backing out of nuclear energy and buckling under the volumes of radioactive waste that need a permanent home. The South Australian Royal Commission into the Nuclear Fuel Cycle drags on irreverently and the hunt for a nuclear dumping ground is on. The nuclear free movement has seen it all and is standing tall. One vital piece of the puzzle is the Australian Nuclear Free Alliance, which met this October in Quorn, SA. Tune in to hear the determined and inspiring voices of ANFA, talking up and defending country from the radioactive poison.
