On this episode of Queering the Air Thanh Hằng & Iris chat to Virginia Fraser, co-curator of the 'Close to You: The Lisa Bellear Picture Show' exhibiting at the Koori Heritage Trust. Lisa Bellear, a Minjungbul/ Goernpil/ Noonuccal/Kanak woman was an Indigenous activist, photographer, broadcaster, poet, feminist, academic and perfomer. The exhibition coincides with the tenth anniversary of Lisa's passing.

We chat about Lisa's life, her photography, her public persona and her private life, as well as her time on 3CR 

We also hear a clipped interview of Lisa chatting to Ruth Barney on 3CR's Women on the Line show in 1992.
