At the Jewish Museum of Australia women are revisiting the Bible.
Juxtaposing old artworks (including Chagall, Rembrandt) with new works by a range of female artists (including Julie Dowling, Sue Saxon and Anne Zahalka), curator Rebecca Forgasz examines representations of women in the Bible and questions traditional notions of femininity in what promises to be a challenging exhibition.
Jewish Museum of Australia, 26 Alma Rd St Kilda.
Tuesday – Thursday: 10 - 4pm, Sunday: 10 - 5pm.
