THE SOUND OF 350 TEAM ARE GEARED UP AND READY TO TAKE THE STAGE!

On October 24th 2009 at 4PM, Ceres Community Environment Park will be hosting a music event featuring musical acts and entertainment coming together to raise awareness of climate change.

Acts include local artists Jumbledat, Goodnight Owl, The Delivery Boy, Marble Sharps and much more!

The actionday has been organised as part of the 350.org international day of climate change action, giving the local community a chance to show their support.

350.org is an international campaign dedicated to building a movement to unite the world around solutions to the climate change crisis. The focus is on the number 350--as in parts per million, the level scientists have identified as the safe upper limit for CO2 in our atmosphere. But 350 is more than a number--it's a symbol of where we need to head as a planet.

As part of a world-wide visual petition, lanterns will be distributed to patrons to form the number ‘350’ for an aerial night shot after the event.  The images collected from around the globe will be delivered to world leaders and media to show how unified the climate change movement really is.
