Secret Wars began back in 2006, it was small and intimate, yet had the potential to be so much more.
Years of hard work, dedication and a strong following has meant Secret Wars has pushed the boundaries and
raised the bar for artists and promoters alike around the world. Shannon McKinnon, the Australian agent for
MONOREX and Secret Wars Australia, felt that the timing was right for Secret Wars to shine down under.
With a massive following already in England, Europe and with the start of the Secret Wars Euro league, it was
time to get the ball rolling and Sydney is the place it’s all happening. Secret Wars showcases the artists and
their art in the form of a live battle using simple but dynamic techniques. Artists are encouraged to have fun,
think outside the square and use the platform to play off one another.
