THE RHYTHM HUNTERS will perform LIVE at Chapel off Chapel (12 Little Chapel Street Prahran VIC) on January 15 & 16, 2010. 

The Rhythm Hunters fuse together the thunder of Japanese Taiko drumming with indigenous music from Indonesia and Australia in a visually choreographed spectacular. This is a deeply affecting, powerful and memorable experience.

Led by Rendra Freestone, the Central Coast NSW-based Rhythm Hunters play an inspired brand of physical drumming blended with tuned wood blocks & bronze percussion.

Asian flute music is woven delicately into the thundering sound fabric of drums to create a music of heaven and earth.

Influences come from Japanese taiko, Indonesian music and the multicultural soundscapes of modern day Australia.
