Kids’ comedy from 4.30-6pm: children are invited to join The Green Crusaders in their quest to find out what young people can do for the planet (for children aged 4-12) while parents meet some of the environment groups who are doing exciting work locally, and everyone shares some food, drink, and a chat.
All ages comedy from 6-7pm: see the hilarious results of trying to protect The Last Bucket of Water, a slapstick performance by The Hounds. Described by The Age as ‘really, really funny’, the Last Bucket of Water was a hit of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and the Adelaide Fringe Festival.
From 7-8pm: be inspired by local households and community groups who are thinking globally and acting locally as you “speed date” your way around short stories and presentations by our local environment champions. Hear about making a political statement with a human sign, energy and water saving for renters, taking action at home, protecting wildlife here and overseas and lots more.
There will be plenty of time to eat, drink, and celebrate.
