Help raise money for 3CR's Connolly Association and see
Hunger, a new film about IRA hunger striker, Bobby Sands.
For six weeks in 1981, Bobby Sands went without food
in an action initiated to demand that IRA prisoners be treated as political
prisoners, not criminals.
Directed by Turner Prize-winning artist Steve
McQueen, Hunger takes an uncompromising look at life inside the Maze prison and the last six weeks in Bobby
Sands' life. After 66 days without food, Sands died at the Maze prison in
Northern Ireland at the age of 27.
