Freedom From Fear ~ Refugee Week Free Event

The Asylum Seeker Welcome Centre is presenting the launch of the recipe book Share My Plate as part of Refugee Week.

Dura Dure well known food writer, philanthropist and local restaurateur will launch:  Share My Plate which is a compilation of recipes from the ASWC weekly dinners, with dishes ranging from Khoresh Keref from Iran to Halva from Pakistan.

The event will take place in the atrium of the Brunswick Town Hall, 233 Sydney Road, Brunswick ~ 6PM - 8.30PM.

As well as the book launch, come prepared for an exciting night of food, music performed by ~ Ashanti, a traditional Eritrean coffee ceremony, raffles and much more. Children welcome.

All donations go to support the work of the Asylum Seeker Welcome Centre. Email your RSVP Monday 15th of June.
