Free Community Education Seminar: Anxiety Disorders & Body Image at Melbourne Town Hall

The Anxiety Recovery Centre with the support of the Lord Mayor's Charitable Fund invites you to attend a free seminar exploring the relationship between anxiety disorders with body image.

It will feature presentations on the anxiety disorders including Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Generalised, Social Anxiety & Panic Disorders, Body Dysmorphic Disorder and Body Image; an overview of treatments and experiences of hope and recovery.

It will be held from 7pm - 8.30pm on Wednesday 17th February 2010 in the Supper Room of the Melbourne Town Hall, Cnr Swanston & Collins Streets, Melbourne and is for people living with anxiety disorders, family, friends, health professionals and the general public.

Guest speakers include Dr Sunil Bhar (Clinical Psychologist & Snr Lecturer in Psychology at Swinburne University); Professor David Castle (Chair of Psychiatry, St Vincents Hospital & University of Melbourne); and Terri Staggard & Paul Read sharing their experiences of life with OCD & their journeys of hope and recovery.
