Power & Greig: Two singer-songwriters come together from opposite sides of the proverbial river. Dan Greig - a boho-brazilian gospel freak; Jim Power - a bearded punk from central victoria, discover their mutual stomping ground on the bounce of reggae and the toothlessness of bluegrass. After some time spent fine-tuning the ancient art of the ho-down, and hand-picking their band of merry mad-men, Power & Greig are unleashing their debut EP upon the world. Be at the East Brunswick Club on Thursday 19th of November to see the five piece band play their original, upbeat set ranging from regga-billy to post-pirate to riot-folk and everything in between. Pulling together banjo, slide guitars, double bass, a bunch of instruments you've never heard of, more harmonies than you can count on one hand, and way too much energy, you'll be dancing like an idiot in no time.
