Students of Sustainability (SoS) is a week-long conference dedicated to the exchange of skills and knowledge in the pursuit of environmental and social justice. The program is packed with workshops, plenaries, lectures and skillshares on topics from ocean degradation to the NT intervention. Come to the Southern Cross Railway Station Spencer Street concourse - Collins Street en.... All are welcome who challenge the Victorian Government's ban on political activity in open public spaces that have been privatised as a result of "private public" partnerships. Bring along food, leaflets, banners, jokes, poetry, rants, songs to share with others assembled in free association for free speech. WAG members hold weekly direct democracy assmblies about Climate Change, Constitutional Rights, The Right to freely distribute political material in open public space and much more. International Women’s Peace Service in Palestine (IWPS-Palestine) is a team of human rights workers, who provide international accompaniment to Palestinian civilians, document and non-violently intervene in human rights abuses, support acts of non-violent resistance to end the illegal Israeli occupation and building of the apartheid wall.
IWPS-Palestine is inviting applicants from women who would like to join our team of volunteers. Successful applicants will serve at least one term in Palestine and support our on-going work outside.
