Free community workshops for Moreland resident Start: 00:00 End: 00:00 The Moreland Energy Foundation (MEFL) is running a series of FREE workshops for the Moreland community to households reduce their greenhouse pollution. ‘Calculate your carbon footprint’ and ‘Green Renovations’ workshops will be held at different locations across the municipality and are for anyone who lives and works in Moreland and wants to know more about reducing their impact on the environment. “The Calculate your Carbon Footprint workshops are a great opportunity for households to understand what their carbon footprint looks like and learn how they can reduce it.” MEFL CEO Paul Murfitt said. “The workshops will assist participants to assess their home and activities, estimate their current greenhouse pollution and identify what actions they can take straight away or plan for in the future.” All workshops are free and participants receive a free kit with some great tools and products to help your household reduce its carbon footprint.” Residents can also attend a free Green Renovations workshop and hear from some local experienced renovators about what they have done to make their homes environmentally sustainable.
