Fukushima: Fallout and Fear. It’s been three and a half years since the earthquake and tsunami that catalysed a meltdown at the Fukushima Daichi Nuclear Power Plant, Japan. Taeko Mutoh is a young woman from Fukushima, who has decided to speak out about her experiences, and the tragedy of not being able to return home. The former Prime Minister of Japan, Naoto Kan, recently visited Australia, and we hear his story on Earth Matters, with the help of his translator Meri Joyce.
