Moriac – it’s a small town just out of Geelong and north of Torquay, probably not on many people’s radar. But it is now. Declaring itself gasfield free at a public event, the Moriac community managed to have politicians from all of Victoria’s major political parties in attendance, a state first. With the state election just around the corner this week Dirt Radio talks to one of the key organizers about grassroots campaigning and its impact at the polling booth.
