Music culture and the making of music cities

Thursday, 7 June 2018 - 6:00pm to 6:30pm

What's a 'music city'? And how do you qualify to become one? This week, music and culture specialists Shane Homan from the School of Media, Film and Journalism at Monash University, and Catherine Strong from the School of Media and Communication at RMIT University explain. And, it turns out, Melbourne, with more live music venues per capita than anywhere else in the world, does indeed qualify.
