At the end of November 2017 the National Ethnic and Multicultural Broadcasters’ Council held its annual conference. The Executive Officer of the NEMBC, Russell Anderson, explains the purpose of the Council and outlines the significance of this year's theme ‘your voice, your action, our change’. The conference began with a special day focused young people, exploring their potential as broadcasters in the multicultural space. Youth committee convenor for the NEMBC, Aguer Athian explains why a youth focused day is important for the future vitality of the sector.
