This week on Accent of Women we speak to one of the leaders of the garment workers union, Dian Trisnanti about the situation for women workers in Indonesia, as well as the documentary film that the union is working on. Radio Marsinah, a station run by a small female garment workers union is looking to make a film as an effective way to address the issue of female workers in Indonesia: the film is called – Break Open. In it they want to address the issue of sexual violence.
